A new southern California electronic festival that we’re very excited for is the Dusk Music Campout, taking place May 17-19 at the La Jolla Indian Reservation in Pauma Valley between LA and SD and east on the 76. Featuring a lineup of well-regarded DJs and touring bands from around the world, Dusk will be an “intimate, off-grid queer festival” and “a weekend of dancing amidst the trees.” It sounds exactly like the kind of event that the San Diego area desperately needs more of.
Los Angeles house legend DJ Harvey and Japanese techno hero DJ Nobu headline the eclectic bill, which also includes San Francisco experimental pop vets Peaking Lights, Italian disco-house magician Massimilano Pagliara, LA’s Far Away party-starters Jen Ferrer and Cooper Saver, and futuristic East Coast producer Dave P, among dozens of others. Camping and ticket options as well as other general info are available on their website, and tickets can be purchased HERE via Resident Advisor. Hope to see some of you there! You can view the rest of the lineup below, in addition to a fiery DJ Harvey Boiler Room set from Milan. Enjoy!
